The Student Activity Council brings together the cultural, academic, sports, and residential societies at IISER Kolkata under a single administrative body.

The Student Activity Council oversees the year-round calendar of campus life — coordinating societies, sports clubs, academic committees, residential bodies, and the institute's contingent for the Inter-IISER Cultural Meet. This is a broad ecosystem of performance, debate, inquiry, and expression.

Every body below is represented on a card bearing its logo, name, and a short introduction drawn from its official records. Read a card's full profile to browse office bearers, images, events, and achievements.

New clubs and committees will be added as they are constituted. This is a living document — printed in code, updated as each academic year unfolds.

How the Council is put together

The Council is one elected body with five arms. Each sets its own calendar, holds its own budget, and answers for its own corner of campus life — the plate below is the whole of it. Follow any arm through to its clubs and committees.
